Social Support

One of the important missions of the Mathias Corvinus Collegium, maintained by the Tihany Foundation, is to provide opportunities for disadvantaged young people to participate in a quality educational program. This effort is already reflected in the Youth Talent Program and the Secondary School Program, where we also try to reach schools in disadvantaged areas and inform them about the opportunities offered by our Programs.

Our University Program, like our other trainings, is completely free for students and their college accommodation is affordable, so we want to ensure that students do not depend on their financial background, but only on their abilities and motivation. In order to support disadvantaged students, the Foundation announces an application for housing allowance every year, within the framework of which 22 socially disadvantaged college students received a 50% dormitory fee discount in 2014.
