Through its Visiting Fellowship Program, MCC provides an opportunity for outstanding foreign researchers, professors, and professionals to research and teach with us for any period ranging between 2 weeks and 6 months, with the possibility of further extension.
MCC welcomes applications from all academic fields, though preference is given to those whose expertise centers on Political Science, International Relations, Law, Economics, Social Sciences, Psychology, Media, History, Philosophy, Migration, Energy Policy, Education and Youth Policy.
While our Visiting Fellows will primarily take part in MCC’s academic, research, and teaching activities, they will have the opportunity to write essays and research papers for domestic periodicals, informative websites, blogs, and are expected to participate in Hungarian public life. In addition to their research activities, visiting fellows are requested to contribute their expertise by teaching at the regional centers of MCC around the Carpathian Basin.
In line with our family-centered approach, we offer both financial assistance and flexibility to encourage and support potential fellows with families to join MCC.
In addition to a monthly, competitive stipend, MCC also offers:
- Flights To and From Budapest
- Possible access to Hungarian social security as mandated by Hungarian law
- Visa Costs (if applicable)
- Shared Office Space
- Support for Research and Work-Related Travel
If interested, we request that you apply through our website. Selected candidates will be invited to an online interview, after which admittance will be decided.
