German-Hungarian Institute for European Cooperation

Founded in 2020 under the aegis of the MCC, the German-Hungarian Institute is dedicated to the most pressing issues at stake for Germany and Hungary. Its main mission is to deliver research-based analysis and present these to the wider public in order to promote understanding for German-Hungarian relations. The Institute focuses primarily on public policy issues and seeks to strengthen dialogue between the two countries through extensive research with a European focus. Besides the research the German-Hungarian Institute also carries out its mission through three main areas: organizing events (such as conferences, symposiums, round-table discussions), supporting students and graduates of exceptional academic achievement, as well as inviting and hosting German experts. Our goal is to create an opportunity for better understanding by discussing German-Hungarian relations objectively and establish a constructive cooperation which can help us to gain our common European objectives.
