Youth Research Institute

The Youth Research Institute was established in 2021 in cooperation between Mathias Corvinus Collegium and Nézőpont Institute. As a 25-year-old educational institute, MCC has always been involved in sociology and committed to community-building, and inter-generational understanding, especially among young people. Our Youth Research institute is an extension of this commitment and has become a key research center in our educational activities.

In addition to these services, it also has served as an important public policy center which has already impacted Hungary’s professional community through publications, development of professional partnerships, and regular media appearances. The institute regularly publishes research outcomes in peer-reviewed international journals and has built international partnerships with similar institutes. The Youth Research Institute seeks to contribute to a better understanding of the mindset of the young generation that is in the focus of the activities of MCC.

The Institute currently is led by Levente Székely, a sociologist who also directs the work at the MCC Center for Sociology.
