Veronica Rodriguez-Blanco holds the Chair of Moral and Political Philosophy (Jurisprudence) at the University of Surrey and is a member of the Surrey Centre for Law and Philosophy. She studied law at Oxford University (MJur) and legal philosophy at the University of Cambridge (PhD). Her research focuses on the intersection of practical reason, philosophy of action, and law, with influences from various periods of moral psychology and action theory. She has authored the monograph Law and Authority Under the Guise of the Good and co-edited works on Dworkin's philosophy and law's practical agency. She has held prestigious fellowships and visiting positions at institutions such as the University of Heidelberg, the European University Institute in Florence, and the University of Stockholm. Her research has been supported by organizations including the British Academy and the British Council.
