Nuno Garoupa is Professor of Law and Faculty Director of Graduate Studies, and former Associate Dean for Research and Faculty Development (2018-2023). Previously, he taught at Texas A&M University School of Law (2015-2018), University of Illinois College of Law (2007-2015), Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Portugal (2001-2007) and Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona, Spain (1998-2001). He also served as President of Fundação Francisco Manuel dos Santos, Lisbon, Portugal (2014-2016). Professor Garoupa received his DPhil in Economics from the University of York (UK), also holds an LLM from the University of London (UK) and an MA in Political Science from George Mason University.
