Balázs Fehérpataky began his career as a high school teacher. As a History and English teacher, educational researcher, and development specialist, he focused on pedagogical and methodological innovation. Later, as a high school principal, he gained significant experience in the operation and development opportunities of public education.
From 2011, he worked at the Educational Research and Development Institute, specializing in school conflict management. As the professional lead for several projects, he also served as a mediator, resolving numerous educational disputes. His attention later turned to the study of school bullying and the phenomenon of bullying. He was instrumental in adapting and implementing the international KIVA anti-bullying program in Hungary.
Since 2020, he has worked at the National Talent Center as the professional leader of the EU-funded "Hungary of Talents" project. From 2022, he has served as the director of the Mathias Corvinus Collegium's Youth Talent Program, which operates across the entire Carpathian Basin.
In addition, he conducts training sessions at Pázmány Péter Catholic University for public education leaders, focusing on personality development and conflict resolution skills.
