Paul Maritz is a South African researcher, currently working towards a Ph.D. in Political Philosophy at the University of Leiden in the Netherlands. Paul holds Master’s degrees in Politics and Theology. Before coming to Europe Paul initiated and managed Solidarity Youth, the Youth Guild of the Solidarity Trade Union in South Africa. Various essays, journal articles and poems under his name have been published in Europe and South Africa. Upon completion of his Ph.D. Paul wishes to return to South Africa in an academic capacity.
