On 20 October, participants of the Budapest Fellowship Program and the Visiting Fellowship Program took part in a study trip to the Mátra Mountains.
The researchers visited the Recsk forced labour camp, where they gained insight into one of the darkest periods of Hungarian history. The visit to the labour camp was followed by a sightseeing tour of Gyöngyös and a visit to Kékes and its TV tower, where they were able to admire the Mátra from the best panoramic view.
