The last stop of the Discover Hungary series was on last Thursday, during which we visited Ópusztaszer and Szeged with the members of the Budapest Fellowship Program and the MCC Visiting Fellowship Program.

We visited the National Historical Memorial Park in Ópusztaszer, as well as the Feszty panorama. Our fellows could gain an insight into the everyday life of the Hungarians during the Árpádian period and learn more about the series of events of the Conquest. After Ópusztaszer, we visited Szeged, where we took a closer look at the Votive Church after lunch at Dóm Square. Finally we closed the day with an informative walking tour before heading back to Budapest.
