At the end of March, as the spring weather arrived, some participants of the Budapest Fellowship Programme and the Visiting Fellowship Programme had the opportunity to explore one of Hungary's most beloved jewel boxes: Szentendre
They were able to learn a lot of historical and cultural facts from their guide, such as the importance of the Serbian-Hungarian friendship in Szentendre, its history, and how many different Christian churches can be found in the Old Town and their background. The group also had the chance to admire the inside of the magnificent Greek-Eastern church. They also visited the Marzipan Museum and had a coffee break in the adjacent Szamos Confectionery, and the Wine Museum, where they learned about the prosperous wine-growing region of the area. The sightseeing tour was crowned with a pleasant lunch at the Danube party.
