Ralph Schoellhammer is as an assistant professor of International Relations at Webster Vienna Private University. His main field of research is political theory and international relations, with a particular emphasis on how culture, values, and ideologies influence state behaviour. He has written and published about the interplay of culture and identity and how it affects social capital formation and social cohesion. Besides his academic work he is a regular commentator on world affairs for national and international broadcasters, including Sky News Australia and The Hill TV and writes regularly for newspapers such as the Wall Street Journal, Newsweek, Unherd, Spiked, the Jerusalem Post, the Washington Examiner, and the American Spectator.
