September marked the start of a new academic year for students in the High School Program (KP) in Szombathely. The month’s activities combined academic workshops, practical learning and opportunities for students to spend time together and get to know one another better.
This October, the international robotics community will turn its attention to Incheon, South Korea, where young innovators from around the world will gather for the FIRST Global Challenge. Hungary will be represented by five MCC students, who have spent months preparing to compete with their own robot.
World Space Week is held annually from October 4 to 10, drawing attention to achievements in space exploration and space science while encouraging young people to take an interest in science. This field is also explored in various ways through MCC's programs. Students in MCC's Youth Talent Program (FIT) can learn about astronomy and space during club sessions and have recently had the opportunity to contribute their own ideas to experiments connected to a Hungarian space mission.
Communication, teamwork, and self-awareness took center stage during a recent club afternoon for students in High School Program at Szombathely Center. Led by Csaba Müller, the session invited students to take part in a problem-solving exercise designed to help them better understand their roles within a group and discover how their individual strengths can contribute to a team's success.
