Terrorism Without Borders: Europe in a New Era of Radicalisation

Terrorism today extends across national borders and is shaped by ideology, political grievances, digital mobilisation, and unequal global security conditions. Taking Europe as its starting point, this workshop examines the diverse terrorist threats facing the continent, from jihadist violence and lone-actor attacks to the growing involvement of young people in extremist networks. It places these challenges within a wider global context, showing how European security is increasingly connected to distant conflicts and transnational digital mobilisation.
